What a way to wrap up Introduction Week 2026
LEIP! Festival 2026 is over! We look back on a festival where the atmosphere was great in all areas, and students celebrated the new academic year together. But this year, LEIP! was about more than just partying.
Following orientation week, our Safe Space continued to operate during the festival. It was a place where students could go for some peace and quiet, a conversation, or support. The “Are You Okay?” campaign was also prominently featured, and staff were trained to recognize inappropriate behavior.
And partying without alcohol? As far as we’re concerned, that’s just as much a part of it. Together with Rabobank, Responsible Young Drivers, and NIX18, we challenged students to choose 0.0 all evening long. Anyone who tested 0.0 at the end of the festival had a chance to study for free for a whole year.
Alcohol-free drinks also had a prominent place at our special 0.0 bar.
No finger-pointing, just letting students make their own choices. Partying is allowed, and so is 0.0.
Thanks to all our partners, crew, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to LEIP! 2026. Together, we made it a wonderful and safe finale.
We’ll be announcing the winner of “a year of free tuition” soon.
