We are looking for enthusiastic students who want to build together an unforgettable experience for all students in Leeuwarden. After the overwhelming success of last year, it is time for a new board, and we need you!

Why be part of the LEIP! Board?
The LEIP! Board at Leeuwarden Student City offers more than just a board year. It is a chance to gain experience, broaden your network and collaborate with fellow students, educational institutions and suppliers. Together, we are committed to putting Leeuwarden on the map as the student city. Does this sound like something for you? Then read on!

What to expect:

LIL' LEIP! Festival
At February 5 2026, the second edition of LIL' LEIP! Festival will take place. A crazy indoor festival for all students in Leeuwarden. 

Leeuwarden Student Field Football Championships
LSV, the biggest football tournament in the North is scheduled for 3 June 2026. LSV has therefore been a household name in Leeuwarden among students for years. Every year, 40 teams take part, with a total of around 400 participants.

As a board member, you will also play an important role in organising these unique events in 2026.

LEIP! Intro and Festival
This takes place from August 23 to August 27, culminating in the LEIP! Festival on September 10.

Will you be part of the eighth LEIP! Board?
LEIP! is there for all students in Leeuwarden, from mbo to PhD students. We aim for a diverse reflection of this student population in our board. Cooperation between students from different educational institutions (NHL Stenden, Van Hall Larenstein, RUG Campus Fryslân and Firda) is key. Together we will look for a suitable position that matches your preferences, learning goals and the needs of the team.

Available positions:

• Marketing and Communications: Manage various communication channels and unleash your creativity on marketing activities.
• Events: responsible for recruiting and managing enthusiastic volunteers, planning and executing LIL'LEIP! Festival, LSV, LEIP! Intro and Festival, ensuring a successful event including evaluation and flexible support for general and specific tasks of LSC and LEIP! Board.

Experience is a bonus, but it's not the most important thing: that's your motivation! It would be helpful if you live in or around Leeuwarden and can speak and read Dutch and English.

Remuneration and time investment:
Organising these events for 8 months requires a time investment and dedication. From February to June, you will therefore work 8 - 12 hours per week on both LIL' LEIP! Festival, LSV, LEIP! Intro and LEIP! Festival. In July, August and September, this increases to around 24 hours a week. Of course, there is room for a summer holiday. In return for your commitment, you will receive a free sports pass at Leeuwarden Student Sport during this period and a total compensation of up to €1200, financed by the profileringsfonds hbo or through the student council mbo, depending on the hours worked.
